Governor wike has finally reacted to news of Governor Obaseki allegede defection days after receiving the Governor at Rivers State Government House in Port Harcourt. Governor Nyesom Wike has reacted to rumours when Speaking to journalists today,He stated said no decision of such was made during his private meeting with Governor Obaseki,he however said the Governor will be welcomed and accepted if he decides to defects to PDP. Unfortunately he added that the choice of who the party will adopt as it governorship candidate in the forthcoming governorship election depends on the Edo state chapter of the party.Governor Wike also condemned the Nigerian Governors Forum for not speaking out against the injustice melted out to Governor Obaseki by the APC screening committee.He criticize the APC governors for allegede being a coward and abandoning Obaseki for the fear of suffering a similar fate. Taking to his Twitter handle, Governor Nyesom Wike wrote; "Obaseki was disqualified by someone who doesn't have a certificate, what an irony".
