Fayose, who spoke through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Idowu Adelusi, in Ado-Ekiti yesterday, said if Buhari were a democrat, he would not have supported a situation whereby the will of the people was subverted through the use of brutal force. “President Buhari should not be happy and applaud this situation whereby the police, army, civil defence and Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) were used to snatch the collective mandate freely given to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Prof. Kolapo Olusola and delivering it to the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate which Ekiti people rejected. The governor queried: “ Can you call that election? Of course not, it was a contest between Olusola and the INEC and security agencies.” He alleged indiscriminate arrest of PDP leaders, harassment and use of brutal force against voters in a massive scale, especially in Ado Ekiti and Ikere areas. “The thugs imported by the APC operated freely under the cover of security agencies to snatch ballot boxes, create confusion, cause mayhem and drive away voters in PDP strong holds. Our party agents were driven away with gun. “Buhari has demonstrated truly that he is not a democrat, but a dictator who is yet to get over military mentality. “I am Peter Ayodele Fayose, I hold my head high. I can never be suppressed. I don’t lose battles and I will not lose this. I will laugh last. Those waiting for me will wait in vain. They should remember what the prophet said to that heady king in the Bible, which applies to them. ‘He that wears the armour should not boast as he that removes it.’ “It is only Buhari that will pride himself with the security shooting sporadically at polling centres, scaring people to pave the way for the APC thugs to snatch ballot boxes,” he said. According to Fayose, “What Buhari has won as referendum from Ekiti people, Nigerians, and international community is shame. If APC has truly won, why is it that there is no jubilation in Ekiti?. “The victory of Kayode Fayemi is pyric. We will reclaim the stolen mandate in the court by the power of God,” he said. On Mallam Shehu, the governor said being a fair weather friend, he would soon desert his current pay masters. “Garba Shehu was in the Presidency courtesy Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for eight years and came back for this current dispensation still courtesy Abubakar. Now, he has abandoned the person who brought him to the limelight. “This is not surprising, when he was the President of the Nigerian Guild of Editors during the regime of General Sani Abacha, he wined and dined with the maximum ruler. Nigerians are waiting to nail him in the end,” he added

welcome to mjventertainment.blogspot.com....Sylvester Idowu in Warri There was outrage in Warri, Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State as news spread that a fully loaded petrol tanker crushed a young lady to death at Ifiekporo community, host to many tank farms. The lady was reported riding on a commercial motorcycle popularly known as Okada when she was crushed to death by the petrol tanker belonging to AMY Ashafa. The incident, which occurred at about 4:50pm Wednesday, saw the tanker severing the deceased, identified as Happy’s head from her body. A community source told THISDAY that the tanker, with the tag “AYM Ashafa” just loaded petrol at the company’s tank farm and was on its way out of the area when it ran into the Okada and its passenger. It was gathered that late Happy was a road side petrol seller at Ifiepkoro who went to buy the product from her customer at the depot. Sources disclosed that when she realised that the product was unavailable, she left for an evening church service and boarded the Okada only to be crushed to death by the tanker driver. The police from the ‘A’ Division, Warri were called in and the mangled body of the deceased was deposited at the Warri Central Hospital mortuary. But the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of “A” Division, Warri, Mr. Kelvin Zioukumor, a Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) confirmed the incident. He said police moved in promptly but the driver of the fuel tanker escaped while the vehicle and the okada were recovered with the remains of the victim deposited in the mortuary. When the news spread to Warri Thursday, many people got angry recalling that several people had been killed in the community as a result of fuel
