In An Attempt To Secure Slovakia,The Prime Minister Robert Fico Who Was Elected In 2016 Made An Official Statement Against The Practice Of Islamism Saying"I'm Sorry But Islam Is No Place In Slovakia". This Statement Had A Strong Impact On The Way The Public Viewed Muslims In Slovakia.The Image They Had Was Tarnished And It Affected The Way Their Neighbours Viewed Them.They Were Seen As Threats To The Country. Politicians And Government In Slovakia Made It Clear That Muslims Are Enemies To The Public.Consequently,The Number Of Those Who Wanted Muslim Neighbours Began To Decrease Drastically.Most Muslims Converted To Christianity Just To Have A Good Image And This Reduced The Population Of Muslims In The Country To About 5,000 Of The Total Population.
