Hopefully this helps put the musician in a solid path to total recovery as he integrates more with society. He also spoke on much support he had gotten from the senior pastor at the church, Apostle Wole Oladiyun. He said: “My testimony is that Jesus Christ is Lord, Jesus Christ is the Master, you know before I went to Abuja for my rehab, Baba Oladiyun here came to my rescue, most church won’t do that. “May God bless him and keep this ministry, materials and spiritual are two different thing, because Jesus Christ cannot come from Heaven to heal you. This Baba is a ‘correct prophet’.” Majek Fashek gets scholarship to study at Computer School Majek added that God used the pastor to turn his life around following their meeting in 2015. In 2015, he was put under medical supervision (at the Synapse Services Centre, an Abuja rehabilitation hospice) for several months over issues relating to drug and alcohol abuse. He was discharged in October, 2015 after which he made an appearance at the annual Felabration concert in Lagos. SHA
