When accessed the site now presents a ‘404 error message’ or a message about enquiring about the availability of the domain name. The website appears to have been shut down over night however the militant group has not issued a statement about its apparent closure. The group’s Facebook account is also still currently active. The Niger Delta Avengers has not made any statement on the new development and it still remains unclear who or what was responsible for the website being taken down.
